Trial, Return & Exchange (Questions: 8)

  • Q.1) Why do mattress manufacture’s offer free trial period for online purchase of mattresses?
  • Whether you purchase a mattress in a store or online, you make a long-term decision that could impact your sleep health. When you buy a mattress in a store after lying on a few mattresses, listening to sales pitches, and getting some great deals, you ignore how you and your partner's body will react to the Mattress. Any new mattress has a break-in period (adjustment period), and your body needs time to adjust to a better feel. Lying on a mattress for a short time in a store setting does not provide insight. Buying a mattress online further compounds that you never got to touch or feel the Mattress before you made the purchase decision. That's why mattress manufacturers offer an extended trial period to try the Mattress in a comfortable home setting without any pressure and then make the call whether to retain or return.

  • Q.2) What is the duration of Bear’s risk-free trial period?
  • Bear offers 365-Night risk-free trial, so you can take more time to know your bed.

  • Q.3) What is the minimum period you need to try Bear mattress before initiating a return?
  • Bear recommends a 30-days adjustment period for trying out a new mattress. If unsatisfied, you can return the Mattress after the 30 days expiration but before 365 days from delivery for a full refund.

  • Q.4) Do I need to keep any of the packaging or boxes?
  • No, you can dispose of or recycle the packaging and boxes.

  • Q.5) Do I need to make my own arrangements for shipping product back to Bear?
  • Bear will arrange the pickup of the Bear mattress from your home.

  • Q.6) What happens to returned or exchanged products?
  • Bear donate your nominal used Mattress to a local charity. Brand prefers to donate to those in need whenever possible instead of having them hauled away to a local landfill to reduce the impact on the environment.
  • Q.7) When can I expect a refund for my return?
  • Once the Mattress is removed from your home by an authorized party of Bear mattress LLC and confirmed by Bear mattress LLC, You will be refunded for the cost of the Mattress (less any discounts)

  • Q.8) Can I exchange a Bear mattress?
  • You get 365 nights to exchange your Mattress from the date of delivery. There is only one return or exchange of any mattress per customer, household, and/or delivery address.
    If you would like to exchange your Mattress for a new model or different feel, you must do so within the 365-night trial. Your unique, exchanged Mattress is not eligible for a return, refund, or trial period.

Warranty (Questions: 4)

  • Q.1) Does Bear offers warranty for mattresses?
  • A Lifetime Limited Warranty covers the bear mattress for the entire period of the original owner’s ownership and use.

  • Q.2) What does Bear’s warranty covers in terms of defects?
  • Bear lifetime limited warranty cover:

    • Any VISIBLE indentation equal or greater than one and a half (1.5") inches that are NOT associated with or resulting from a faulty, improper, or unsupportive foundation, box spring, or platform that is not designed or constructed so that it is capable of handling the combined weight of the foundation and its intended users.
    • Any physical defect in the Mattress due to a production deficit causes the foam or spring material to evidence degradation, split, or crack, despite normal usage and proper handling.
  • Q.3) What defects are not covered under Bear’s warranty?
  • Bear lifetime limited warranty doesn’t include:

    • Normal wear and tear or any defect resulting from misuse or abuse of the Mattress or failure to keep the mattress clean and free of stains and potentially unsanitary objects.
    • A standard increase in softness due to normal usage. Comfort preference. Any comfort level description of any Mattress is solely provided as a guideline. Bear does not guarantee the firmness or softness quality of any Mattress, nor does it guarantee comfort preference as per your taste.
    • Mold, odors, and/or discoloration caused by abnormal care including, but not limited to liquid spills, improper ventilation including, but not limited to humid climates and/or areas where the Mattress is exposed to excessive water or humidity.
    • Damage associated with an improper bed frame, foundation, box spring, or base as solely determined by Bear.
    • Imperfections that do not prevent ordinary use and enjoyment of the Mattress by a reasonable person are not considered defects.
  • Q.4) What is the remedy if a defect is found?
  • In the event of a Defect, Bear’s sole liability and your sole remedies under this Warranty will be:

    • Get a replacement of your defective Mattress with a brand new Bear mattress in the same model and size at absolutely no charge.

  • Q.1) What forms of payment Bear accepts?
  • Bear accepts the following payment options:

    • Mastercard
    • Visa
    • American Express
    • PayPal
    • Financing for US customers only
  • Q.2) Does Bear offer financing?
  • Yes, you can finance your Bear mattress with affirming and split.

  • Q.3) How does Affirm work?
  • Affirm allows you to pay for your Bear products over time in easy monthly installments, with 0% APR financing.

    Depending on the amount approved, you can split your payments across 3,6, 12, 18, and or 24 months. You can pay any outstanding balance in full during this period without any pre-payment charges.

  • Q.4) How does Split work?
  • Split it creates automatic installment payments and charges your credit card over a set amount of months. Once you select Split it as your payment option, you will be given the option to choose the number of interest-free payments you want to make. These payments options available are three, six, 12, or 24 months.

  • Q.5) Are there any restrictions on Affirm or split financing?
