Beautyrest® Harmony Lux™ Carbon mattresses have various firmness options and price points. The thicker the mattress, the costlier it is. Other features like the pillow top with additional cushioning also add to the price. Depending on the model, the comfort layers may have slight differences; otherwise, the support system and the cover material is identical in almost all models.
Each mattress model features a cover made from recycled ocean plastic waste (Seaqual™ Sustainable Fabric), which is a sustainable fabric, especially loved by environment-conscious people. In partnership with Seaqual™, Beautyrest has made it possible to use this sustainable fabric in its mattresses, making them durable and luxurious, thus helping to clean oceans with this initiative. Each mattress sold adds to the cleaning of oceans and supports marine life. Beneath the cover is a layer of foam (InfiniCool™ Lux) that feels cool to touch, offering a sleeping surface that helps to fall asleep quickly and stay asleep. Beautyrest® Harmony Lux™ Carbon – Pillow Top
Pillow Top is an upgrade over the Classic Top, which offers more comfort and enhanced pressure-relieving benefits, in addition to support and cooling. Pillow Top comes in two firmness levels: medium and plush. Dynamic Response™️ Memory Foam in the comfort layers helps to optimize every move alongside conforming back support. This foam provides a superior responsive feeling compared to memory foam. Additional GelTouch® Foam in the plush firmness similar to the Classic Top (plush) offers soothing comfort, exceptional contouring, and a cool feeling on touching. Each of these firmness has slight variations only in the comfort layer, which is detailed below. This upgraded version costs $400 extra compared to the Classic Top with these enhanced features.

Beautyrest® Gel Memory Foam prevents heat from building up in the comfort layers, and coils at the base allow more air to flow into the interior of the mattress, thus preventing heat from building up in the base. Motion Isolation and Sharing a Bed

Beautyrest® Harmony Lux™ Carbon mattress does not fair very well in this category. The pocketed coils at the base are responsive, but being individually encased, they respond independently to any pressure, thus isolating motion to some extent. Memory foam of different thicknesses in the comfort layers helps to cut down on motion. Therefore, changing sides may not bother you or your partner much if you share the bed with your partner. However, while getting in and out of bed, some movement might be felt by either of you, as the T2 pocketed coils are responsive and bouncy. More memory foam in the comfort layers of the Pillow Top makes these mattresses better at isolating motion than the Classic Top.

Beautyrest® Harmony Lux™ Carbon mattress model comes with superior edge support. T2 pocketed coils along with BeautyEdge® make the mattress’s support system robust, preventing sinking and sagging along the edges. This makes sitting or lying near the edges feel safe. The plush Pillow Top with more memory foam may compress to some extent under pressure, but the extra firm and medium Classic Top versions do not let you sink deep while sitting near the edges.
